LEGISLATORS MEET WITH VETERANS' AGENT

BOSTON- Senate Assistant Minority Leader Bruce Tarr (R-Gloucester) and Representative James Miceli (D-Wilmington) recently meet with Wilmington Veterans Agent Louis Cimaglia at the Annual Veterans' Agent/Legislator Luncheon at the State House.  Each year this event provides legislators with the opportunity to meet those who serve the veterans community and discuss issues of importance to those who have served our nation.

 Tarr said that “it is important that we keep open the lines of communication between the people who work every day to respond to the needs of our veterans and the members of the legislature.”

 Topics of discussion this year included health care and prescription drugs, property taxes and state programs serving veterans.

 Representative Miceli said, “The service men and women who live by the words duty, honor and country deserve everything we can do for them.”
